Look what we got to explore on today!!! The Pioneer newspaper even came to check it all out. Many of the children were trying out abcmouse.com! This is so super exciting for us! YAY!!!

I have no picture for this post because it is actually something you will be lucky enough to get to whiteness on your own. Our kids are reading!!! I have been having them work on sounding out three letter "CVC" words, these are words made up of a consonant, vowel and a consonant, like "hat". They have been reading these words and determining whether or not they rhyme. I am so pleased with how well they have been reading these words on their own and you will be too! The craziest part is that they still feel that they "can't read", I have had to convince a few of them that they are now readers! It's amazing!
We will begin assessments in the coming weeks that will determine their reading levels and from their we will form guided reading groups. I can't wait for you to see their growth in reading, it's going to knock your socks off!
