Top It!
Coming soon to a kitchen table near you...in the math homework journals. :) We learned a new card game today called Top It! It reinforces letter recognition and also helps students to know which number is greater. We had so much fun playing it with our friends today and soon we will be taking it home to teach to you.

Leadership Mecosta
We had the pleasure this morning to have a member of the current Leadership Mecosta class come in and read a short story to us. We love so much when Riverview can be a part of what is happening in our community and even more we love when our community can come in and see what is going on at Riverview!

Happy 50th Day of School!
Can you believe that we are 50 days smarter already? Well believe it! I am so proud of how much our children have learned and grown in the last 50 days. Think about where they started! Now just imagine where they will be at 100 days of school and at the end of the year. It truly is the best part about teaching Kindergarten.

Be BOLD Be KIND BR!!!
Look at these two handsome fellows sporting their new anti-bullying t-shirts. We had a tremendous assembly yesterday put on by a high school group that taught our children the meaning behind Be BOLD be KIND BR. Our students LOVED it! I think we will be seeing a lot of these shirts around.
Be BOLD = stand up for what is right
Be KIND = treat others with respect and courtesy
BR = Be a proud Cardinal and support our BR family and community.
